HG30 is very compact, only 5″ high and 3″ in diameter. It is easily stowed in a glove compartment. The design is for illumination on 4 sides horizontal as well as vertical. The HG30 is perfect for those overnight offshore trips as well as deep water inshore fishing. It comes with a 20′ cord and alligator clips. If deep water fishing is your thing then the HG30 is your light. This light is slightly less powerful than the premium HG45, but still does a spectacular job like all Hydro Glow products.
