Aquathol Super K (Granular)

The Very Best Granular Aquatic Herbicide!
Kills Milfoil, Coontail, and Most Forms of Pondweeds

SKU: HAQU1 Categories: ,

Aquathol Super K Granular or Liquid Aquatic Herbicide is quite frankly the very best aquatic herbicide available.

Aquathol Super K herbicide utilizes Culigel® super absorbent polymer technology and is 6 times more concentrated than regular Aquathol. This means less product to handle, less labor to apply and reduced container disposal.

Aquathol Super K is the best treatment for killing Curly Leaf Pondweed and is also an excellent treatment for Eurasian Water Milfoil, Hydrilla, Coontail and most forms of pondweeds. Dosage rate is variable according to the plant species and time of year.

Use a tank sprayer or granular spreader and apply according to label instructions. Over time, the weeds will begin to brown and die. Once completely dead, use a rake, like the Jenlis Weed Rake, to remove dead weeds to prevent an accumulation of dead plant material and muck.

Application Rates for Granular: How much do you use?

Curly Leaf Pond Weed- 10 lbs treats 15,000 square feet.
Eurasian Watermilfoil- 10 lbs treats 15,000 square feet.
Hydrilla- 10 lbs treats 10,000 square feet.
Coontail- 10 lbs treats 10,000 square feet.
Mixed Weeds- 10 lbs treats 10,000 square feet.

For Example:

If you are treating Curly Leaf Pond Weed on a shoreline that goes out 30 feet and is 200 feet long than you are treating 6,000 square feet and would only need to use 4 lbs of Aquathol Super K!

Granular Application Tips:
How do you apply?

How to apply Aquathol Super K?

Just simply broadcast Aquathol Super K with a hand scoop or a spreader directly onto the vegetation. Always try to calculate the square footage of the treatment area so you can use the correct amount of Aquathol within that area. Doing this will save quite a bit of product waste and overuse.

For best results, apply Aquathol early in the plants life cycle while it is still actively growing to provide season long control.

Application Tips for Liquid: How do you apply?

Aquathol® K should be sprayed on the water or injected below the water surface. It may be applied as a concentrate or diluted 10:1 with water depending on the equipment.

Water Use Restrictions:

Aquathol Super K is very safe for fish if used properly. There is a 7 day irrigating restriction following the application of Aquathol Super K.
