What We Offer
Herman Brothers Fisheries operates a state-of-the-art fish hatchery and rearing facility to help produce fish to sustain stocking needs across the Midwest! We operate our main hatchery and holding facility near the small town of Hanna City, Illinois. We specialize in initial pond stocking, corrective stocking, supplemental forage fish stocking, specialized fisheries, and top-of-the-line genetics for trophy lakes and take pride in the work we put in to grow the highest quality gamefish available!
The fish we have available are Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, Hybrid Bluegill, Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Channel Catfish, Albino Catfish, Blue Catfish, Fathead Minnows, Golden Shiners, Triploid Grass Carp, Walleye, Pike, Muskie, Tiger Muskie, Perch, as well as Rainbow Trout!
Pond Deliveries
We are available for all of your pond stocking needs and can deliver our fish to you with one of our top-of-the-line fish hauling rigs! Please contact us for a quote on your order!
SWCD Fish Days
Every spring and fall we supply fish to the soil and water conservation district in many of the counties across the state of Illinois. This is a very convenient way for you to have access to our fish without the cost of delivery. We fill and seal each bag of fish with oxygenated water for the trip back to your pond. Contact your local County SWCD office to order fish for this upcoming season!
