About the Ranch

The Giant Goose Ranch is our 840-acre recreational playground in Canton, IL. We have 52 lakes and ponds and miles of trails to explore. It is a hybrid property somewhere between a campground, a sportsman’s club, a vacation resort, a working ranch, and a private recreational farm.

By combining all the best attributes of each type of property, along with the creativity and conservation of the Herman Brothers, we have the ultimate recipe for family fun, outdoor education and adventure. It will take a lifetime to explore everything the ranch has to offer!

Come spend a week with your family at the Ranch in one of our Lakefront Custom Camping Cabins. Each Cabin has a bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom, heat, air conditioning and sleeps up to 6 people. The Bedroom has a queen bed, the loft has 2 single beds, and the living room has a fold-out couch.

Cabin Rentals start at $115 per night. A limited number of Private Lakefront cabins are also available for purchase. Contact Us for more details and available rental dates.
