During World War I, Noah Herman worked at Caterpillar near Peoria, IL assembling war machinery. After the war ended, Noah became a carpenter and started his own home-building business. The Herman family has been building, consulting, and designing since Noah Herman started Noah Herman Construction (NHS) in 1949. Over the years, NHS evolved into several family businesses all with the focus on helping clients better enjoy their ponds, properties, and the great outdoors.
Four generations later, the Herman family businesses have expanded into an industry leading, outdoor and recreational group of organizations. All of the current generation of Herman Brothers – Chad, Nate, Justin, Jared, and Dave – have spent countless hours working on all types of projects from the bottom up.
Each member of the Herman family, along with their employees, is an integral part of each operation – our customer service and work ethic are second to none!
